Copper-nickel: chemical composition
Cast copper-nickel alloys are single-phase copper–nickel solid solutions with small, controlled additions of iron and manganese. The iron and manganese stabilise the protective surface film, giving good resistance to sea-water corrosion, erosion and biofouling; higher nickel extends resistance to higher flow velocities.
Pump and valve bodies, flanges and fittings for sea-water piping, cooling-water systems and condensers in marine, offshore and desalination service.

Copper-nickel: cast and machined in-house
We cast copper-nickel alloys for sea-water service and machine them in the group's own CNC machine shop, with spectrometer analysis and EN 10204 3.1 certificates.
- Sand casting at our foundry in Mandra, Attica; centrifugal casting for bushings, sleeves and liners
- Heat treatment at the foundry (water, oil or air quench); CNC machining in our machine shop in Perama
- Spectrometer analysis of every heat, mechanical testing and NDT
- EN 10204 3.1 inspection certificates; ISO 9001 (both plants) and ISO 14001 (foundry) certified
