Super duplex contains more chromium, molybdenum and nitrogen, with a PREN of 40 or more, for seawater and chloride service. Standard duplex, with a PREN of about 35, suits most process and water duties. We cast both.
EN 1.4470, 1.4469 and 1.4517 and ASTM A890 grades 1B, 4A, 5A and 6A, as well as other grades to your specification.
Yes. Solution annealing in our foundry, chemical analysis of every heat, tensile and hardness tests, ultrasonic and dye penetrant testing by Level II staff, and CNC machining in our own machine shop, with an EN 10204 3.1 certificate.
