GX5CrNiMoNb19-11-2 (1.4581) chemical composition
Niobium-stabilised version of the Mo-bearing austenitic grade: niobium binds carbon so chromium stays in solid solution, protecting against intergranular corrosion after welding or exposure to elevated temperature. Cast counterpart of the Ti-stabilised wrought grade 1.4571.

We cast GX5CrNiMoNb19-11-2
Tsitouras Foundry supplies stainless steel sand castings – and centrifugal castings for bushings and sleeves – with the heat treatment each grade requires (solution annealing; quenching and tempering for martensitic grades), spectrometric chemical analysis, mechanical testing and NDT, EN 10204 3.1 certificates, and CNC machining to the finished part in the group's own machine shop.
- Sand casting at our foundry in Mandra, Attica; centrifugal casting for bushings, sleeves and liners
- Heat treatment at the foundry (water, oil or air quench); CNC machining in our machine shop in Perama
- Spectrometer analysis of every heat, mechanical testing and NDT
- EN 10204 3.1 inspection certificates; ISO 9001 (both plants) and ISO 14001 (foundry) certified
