CF3M (UNS J92800) chemical composition
Low-carbon, molybdenum-bearing grade, cast counterpart of 316L (UNS J92800). Mo raises resistance to pitting and chloride attack versus CF3, while low carbon preserves corrosion resistance in the weld zone; common for chemical pumps and valves.

We cast CF3M
Tsitouras Foundry supplies stainless steel sand castings – and centrifugal castings for bushings and sleeves – with the heat treatment each grade requires (solution annealing; quenching and tempering for martensitic grades), spectrometric chemical analysis, mechanical testing and NDT, EN 10204 3.1 certificates, and CNC machining to the finished part in the group's own machine shop.
- Sand casting at our foundry in Mandra, Attica; centrifugal casting for bushings, sleeves and liners
- Heat treatment at the foundry (water, oil or air quench); CNC machining in our machine shop in Perama
- Spectrometer analysis of every heat, mechanical testing and NDT
- EN 10204 3.1 inspection certificates; ISO 9001 (both plants) and ISO 14001 (foundry) certified
