GX2CrNi19-11 (1.4309) chemical composition
Low-carbon version of 1.4308 (cast 304L, close to CF3) with slightly higher nickel. The reduced carbon limits carbide precipitation in the weld zone, so it is chosen for welded assemblies and for parts that need weld repair without post-weld annealing.

We cast GX2CrNi19-11
Tsitouras Foundry supplies stainless steel sand castings – and centrifugal castings for bushings and sleeves – with the heat treatment each grade requires (solution annealing; quenching and tempering for martensitic grades), spectrometric chemical analysis, mechanical testing and NDT, EN 10204 3.1 certificates, and CNC machining to the finished part in the group's own machine shop.
- Sand casting at our foundry in Mandra, Attica; centrifugal casting for bushings, sleeves and liners
- Heat treatment at the foundry (water, oil or air quench); CNC machining in our machine shop in Perama
- Spectrometer analysis of every heat, mechanical testing and NDT
- EN 10204 3.1 inspection certificates; ISO 9001 (both plants) and ISO 14001 (foundry) certified
