EN-GJS-600-3 (EN-JS1060) chemical composition
Predominantly pearlitic ductile iron (formerly GGG-60), stabilised with Cu and Sn, for gears, sheaves, crankshafts and wear-loaded machine parts where strength outweighs elongation. Typical chemistry; EN 1563 specifies properties only.

Basis of values: EN 1563 specifies mechanical properties, not chemistry. The values shown are typical foundry ranges; the chemistry is adjusted so the casting meets the requirements of the ordered grade.
We cast EN-GJS-600-3
We sand cast GJS grades for housings, pulleys, sheaves and gear blanks, verify the chemistry on our spectrometer and machine the castings in the group's own CNC machine shop, with EN 10204 3.1 certificates on request.
- Sand casting at our foundry in Mandra, Attica; centrifugal casting for bushings, sleeves and liners
- Heat treatment at the foundry (water, oil or air quench); CNC machining in our machine shop in Perama
- Spectrometer analysis of every heat, mechanical testing and NDT
- EN 10204 3.1 inspection certificates; ISO 9001 (both plants) and ISO 14001 (foundry) certified
