EN-GJN-HB555 (5.5605) chemical composition
Ni-Hard 4 is the higher-chromium, silicon-bearing Ni-Hard. Its carbides are of a different type and less continuous than in Ni-Hard 1 and 2, which gives the highest hardness of the three together with better toughness. Typical parts are slurry pump casings, mill liners and pulverizer parts.

We cast EN-GJN-HB555
We cast Ni-Hard grades alongside our 15% and 25% chromium white irons for abrasion-resistant wear parts. Each melt is checked by spectrometer analysis, and EN 10204 3.1 certificates are available on request.
- Sand casting at our foundry in Mandra, Attica; centrifugal casting for bushings, sleeves and liners
- Heat treatment at the foundry (water, oil or air quench); CNC machining in our machine shop in Perama
- Spectrometer analysis of every heat, mechanical testing and NDT
- EN 10204 3.1 inspection certificates; ISO 9001 (both plants) and ISO 14001 (foundry) certified
