EN-GJN-HB480 (5.5602) chemical composition
Ni-Hard 2 is the lower-carbon companion to Ni-Hard 1. Fewer carbides mean slightly lower hardness but better toughness and impact resistance. Chosen for wear parts that are also exposed to impact or shock loading.

We cast EN-GJN-HB480
We cast Ni-Hard grades alongside our 15% and 25% chromium white irons for abrasion-resistant wear parts. Each melt is checked by spectrometer analysis, and EN 10204 3.1 certificates are available on request.
- Sand casting at our foundry in Mandra, Attica; centrifugal casting for bushings, sleeves and liners
- Heat treatment at the foundry (water, oil or air quench); CNC machining in our machine shop in Perama
- Spectrometer analysis of every heat, mechanical testing and NDT
- EN 10204 3.1 inspection certificates; ISO 9001 (both plants) and ISO 14001 (foundry) certified
