EN-GJL-150 (EN-JL1020) chemical composition
The lowest-strength EN 1561 grade, with the highest carbon and silicon of the series for maximum fluidity, damping and easy machining. Used for covers, frames and lightly loaded housings. Chemistry shown is typical foundry practice; EN 1561 specifies none.

Basis of values: EN 1561 specifies mechanical properties, not chemistry. The values shown are typical foundry ranges; the chemistry is adjusted so the casting meets the requirements of the ordered grade.
We cast EN-GJL-150
We sand cast GJL grades such as EN-GJL-250 (GG-25) for pump impellers, pump casings and housings, check the chemistry on our spectrometer and machine the parts in the group's own CNC machine shop, with EN 10204 3.1 certificates on request.
- Sand casting at our foundry in Mandra, Attica; centrifugal casting for bushings, sleeves and liners
- Heat treatment at the foundry (water, oil or air quench); CNC machining in our machine shop in Perama
- Spectrometer analysis of every heat, mechanical testing and NDT
- EN 10204 3.1 inspection certificates; ISO 9001 (both plants) and ISO 14001 (foundry) certified
